Lafayette Cemetery

This overgrown cemetery’s name is Lafayette Cemetery. Built in 1833, this is the oldest grave site owned by the city. In a single block, 7000 people are buried in these tombs. The tombs are completely covered in vines and grass. Ferns grew out of the tombs and even trees sprouted on top of the roofs. It was a very interesting sight to see a cemetery so overgrown.
